Art House provides engaging, hands-on creative sessions for children aged 7–16 in Long Buckby.
Each class is designed to encourage independent thinking, creative confidence, and genuine enjoyment.
There are no rigid templates. No endless copying of pictures.

Our Team

Natalie
Natalie has loved art from a young age and brings a strong foundation in both traditional and contemporary techniques. With qualifications including an A Level and BTEC in Art, as well as a degree in Graphic Communication, she combines technical skill with a keen eye for composition.
Natalie especially enjoys working with collage and mixed media, encouraging students to experiment and layer ideas. Her sessions focus on building confidence and helping every child create something truly their own.

Marlene
Marlene is a highly experienced artist who has spent years teaching art. She loves printmaking in her own time, aswell as all types of painting. Marlene uses her wealth of experience to help students explore new techniques and build their confidence.
She is all about helping young creators experiment with bold ideas to produce their own vibrant, original masterpieces!

Helna
Helna is a dedicated Art Educator with a Master’s in Fine Art and an active exhibiting artist. She specialises in sculpture and painting, creating a supportive space where children feel confident to take creative risks.
Helna’s sessions focus on building technical skills through hands-on exploration, helping every student find their own "creative voice." She makes high-level art accessible, engaging, and, most importantly, brilliant fun for young makers!

Lynda
Lynda has recently completed a degree in Fine Art and specialises in child-led art that follows the students' curiosity.
With experience as an Artist in Residence, she’s an expert at turning big ideas into exciting projects, from wearable art to collaborative sculptures. Lynda loves helping children work together to create imaginative, award-winning pieces. Her goal is to make sure every child feels like a real artist, exploring new themes in a relaxed and playful way.

Helen
Helen is a passionate educator who specialises in ceramics and painting. She uses a person-centred approach, tailoring every lesson to match a child’s individual interests and learning style.
By creating a relaxed and supportive environment, Helen helps students build on their existing skills while discovering new techniques in colour. Her goal is to boost every student’s confidence, ensuring they feel inspired and successful in every creative project they tackle!

Jack
Jack’s interest in creativity started early, with plenty of time spent drawing and experimenting as a child.
Today, that interest spans music, design, and creative thinking. At Arthouse, he supports sessions and helps build a space where young people can get stuck in and enjoy creating.
